What is Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the craniosacral system, which is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The bones of the head, sacrum, and surrounding fascia are worked with to facilitate movement and structural integrity within the body. 

A deeper aspect of this work involves the central nervous system in which the brain and spinal cord are contained. Often referred to as the “control center” of the body, the central nervous system regulates all other systems, including digestion, blood pressure, heart rate, cognition, memory, sleep, emotion, pain, coordination, joint and muscle movement and so much more. Because of this, Craniosacral Therapy encourages the inherent health of the body as a whole. Some of the many conditions that can be helped through this work are:
